I'm Authoritative!
Props to the good people at Google Local for making my La Barca post the #1 reference for one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. Considering all the treasured memories La Barca has given me, this is the least I can do to honor it.
I'd also like to toot my own horn a little bit more by sharing a reference to this post about the Red Line subway that was posted on August 29 over at Dropping the Gloves. Thanks for the shout out!
Part of the reason I started blogging was that I believed my thoughts and ideas could help others if I made the effort to share them. My travels in the blogosphere have taught me a lot and enriched my life in a way I didn't think was possible.
I'd like to give a special thanks to my handful of loyal readers. I greatly enjoy the conversation we're having with each other.

You are a tour de force of the blog world. Insightful entries and entertaining as well. I hope my blog reaches the magnitude of Paradox Unbound.
Congratulations on concocting a meaningful and functional blog! I highly doubt anyone out there needs an authority on intoxication, drama, and failed relationships so I could only aspire to reach such heights of recognition.
I'm glad to hear blogging has played such an integral role in life lessons and self-enrichment. I must say it has accomplished the same for me (as well as serving as one huge catharsis), and without other bloggers out there in blog-land, it just wouldn't be as fun, intriguing, and rewarding. It is so refreshing to hear about other people's interests and viewpoints that differ from the daily world which surrounds me here in little ole Cleveland.
