To be honest, I've traveled to LA many times, and I noticed more smog than blue skies.
Blue skies are a trademark of the metropolitan area dubbed "The Twin Cities": Minneapolis and St Paul.
I enjoy your blog -- especially the malls part. I have a fascination with retail. But my favorite malls are the downtown ones -- I used to work in downtown St Paul's Galtier Plaza which has been mostly transformed from mall into high-tech services.
Many good memories of going there as a child. Great mixed-use development, though it went bankrupt 3 times.
